10. Gnosia

Imagine if Among Us were made into an anime; that is basically the premise of Gnosia. Based on the super successful visual novel, the story takes place on a spaceship where the last human survivors are stuck after Earth falls. There is a shape-shifting alien among them, but nobody knows who. Each episode is just like playing one social deduction game in which you’re always on edge due to suspicion, strategy, and changes of alliances. Gnosia is a stylish, eerie, and full-of-twists work that combines both a science fiction mystery with psychological tension, and in such a way that you won’t be able to stop until the very last episode. The show will stream on Crunchyroll starting October 11th.

9. Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill – Season 2

Sometimes, all you need is a comfortable escape filled with laughter, friendship, and delicious meals, and that is Campfire Cooking. The popular series returns for a second season as the story of its laid-back protagonist and his extraordinary cooking skills, which make both humans and monsters happy, continues. Each episode is like a meal of comfort: warm, satisfying, and with a good dose of laughs and love. You will be able to watch and anticipate lots of delicious fantasy dishes, light-hearted adventures, and reasons to ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌smile when Season 2 drops on Crunchyroll on October 7th.

8. To Your Eternity – Season 3

Get out your handkerchiefs because To Your Eternity is back to break your heart once more. The immortal Fushi presses on in his endless search to learn about life and love, this time finding himself in a post-Renril war modern world. Philosophical, as well as incredibly emotional and reflective, Season 3 promises more heartbreaking tales and introspection of one’s existence. You can catch it on Crunchyroll from October 4.

7.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Ranma ½ – Season 2

What a great time to be a fan of the old anime generation! With Netflix, remastered Ranma ½ season two will be back with the return of all that crazy martial arts comedy that marked the past generation. Take one cursed transformation here, a completely ridiculous dojo brawl there, and a whole bunch of romantic misunderstandings, put them together with a modern style production that has the charm of a 1989 classic, and you’re set. On October 4, the performance shall be available.

6. One Punch Man – Season 3

One-Punch Man, the coolest (and most frustrated) super-villain-to-be, reports for duty with fireworks. Season 3 of the One-Punch Man series picks up right after the Monster Association arc, where we find our hero joined with a loud and fun episode infusion comprising the ill-fated plot that fans of the manga have been intensely awaiting. In other words, be only ready for epic battles that leave you staring at the floor with your mouth open, crazy jokes, off-the-wall kind, and the never-ending quest of Saitama to get a rival that can at least match his power. This return pretty much gives rise to the biggest anime hyped moments of the year. More on official streaming is yet to be ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌revealed.

5.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Touring after the Apocalypse

While the world is brimming with sequels and blockbusters, don’t let this whispered triumph pass you by. Touring After the Apocalypse follows two girls roaming the ruins of Earth from times long forgotten, and then finding calm and beauty in the nothingness that they least expected. It’s a very slow, reflective trek blended with melancholy and hope; a really good combination for those who like quiet, contemplative stories. Crunchyroll will have the premiere this fall.

4.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ This Monster Wants to Eat Me

If you like a twisted, romantic, and only somewhat disturbing sort of story, you need to see This Monster Wants to Eat Me. It is a fiction that creatively combines elements of horror and desire to show the relationships between a monster and humans. According to this story, the monster is torn between eating the human and maybe loving it. This one is weird, daring, and full of queer subtext, which makes this series one of the most bold and bravest series this season. You can currently watch it on ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌Crunchyroll.

3.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ Sanda

What? Santa Claus as a shonen hero? Well, yes. Sanda comes up with the premise of telling the origin story of Santa as a young fighter who, through the use of insane holiday-themed powers, battles the bad guys. This show perfectly balances itself between ridiculous and loving because it takes its over-the-top plot so very seriously. Incidentally, Sanda, an autumn release on Amazon Prime Video, is already being called a potential cult ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌phenomenon.

2. Spy x Family – Season 3

Hooray! Everybody’s favorite fake family is back with a brand new season! Season 3 of Spy x Family is going to be just as great as we hoped: full of action, comedy, and heartwarming family mess. New missions are to be expected, as well as the exploration of Loid’s past and a handful of Anya’s adorable tricks. The manga is adapted from the most popular arcs, so this is the sequel fans have been waiting for. Watch it at the earliest from October 4 on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

1.‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌ My Hero Academia – Final Season

After almost a decade, My Hero Academia is finally concluding its storyline. The last season is going to be a dramatic goodbye to Deku’s character arc, including the ultimate fight between All For One and One For A lot. Studio Bones is putting out top-notch animation, coupled with a heartfelt goodbye to one of the biggest anime phenomena in recent memory, so that is what the fans can expect. The conclusion will stream on October 4th on Crunchyroll and Hulu.

Fall 2025 is packed with a broad range of genres and creative works: wrenching dramas, mind-blowing shonen fights, cozy isekai adventures, and many more. Just to mention a few, the season can be read as Anime getting more and more radical and heterogeneous rather than being understood as nostalgia, thrill, or tranquility seeking. So get your snacks, open up some space in your queue, and get ready, the fall is going to be ‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‌historical.
