For years, Latinas were stuck with characters that only showcased a “spicy” side of them, like the maid or the love interest with an accent, depth never being part of their attributes. However, there has been a shift in the situation. A Latina actress’s fresh generation is absolutely not restrained anymore; they are getting bigger and more detailed characters, and they are telling us that representation isn’t only necessary, but it is also essential. 11. Soni Nicole Bringas

Soni Bringas, a 23-year-old, is most recognisable for her character, Ramona Gibbler, in the TV series “Fuller House”; however, she has not limited her interpretation career to the TV show only.
